DAY 1: BAGHDOGRA TO PHEUNTSHOLING

Welcome to Bhutan from Jaigaon -> Phuentsholing –> Meet & greet on arrival at NJP station/IXB Airport. Drive and entry permit process. Check in Hotel.

DAY 2: PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPU

After Breakfast, Check out, get the permit done and drive to Thimphu via the wonderful mystic town Gedu, which is about 9000 ft above the sea and Chukha Dam. On the way visit Crocodile Park,Kharbondi Gumpha,Wankha waterfalls and halt at Chojum to take photographs of the confluence of two rivers of Bhutan, Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu. Reach Thimphu in the evening.

After breakfast we will go sightseeing in Thimphu.

DAY 4 THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA

The Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan on the road from Thimphu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as “Druk Wangyal Chortens” have been built by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother. Apart from the chortens there is a monastery called the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang (temple)

DAY 5 PUNAKHA TO PARO

After Our Breakfast, Retrace The Drive Back To Paro. En-Route We Will Stop Over Tachogang Lhakhangfor Little Leg Stretch Walk Crossing Paro River Or Enjoy The Views From The Roadside Depending Your Arrival Time. The Massive Buttressed Walls That Tower Over The Town Are Visible Throughout The Valley, Particularly When Landing At Paro Airport. The Dzong Also Offers Administrative Seat Of The District Of Paro. DAY 6 PARO -CHELLA PASS/OPTION-TIGER NEST

Proceed To Visit Chele-La-Pass (3800m) – One Of The Highest Motor-Able Passes In The Country. It Is Also A Sacred Place To Festoon The Pass With Prayer Flags. The Chele La Ridge Offers Gardens Of Himalayan Flowers, Plants And Of Special Pheasant Species. Arrive In Paro.Evening Free For Shopping In Paro Market.

Take A Day Walk To The ‘Tiger’s Nest’, The Sacred Taktshang Monastery Which Clings To The Rock Face 900 Metres Above The Valley Floor. Guru Rinpoche Is Said To Have Flown To The Site Riding On A Tigress. He Subsequently Meditated Here For Three Months. You Can Have Lunch At The Taktshang Cafeteria From Where You Get A Spectacular View Of The Monastery.

DAY 7: PARO TO PHEUNTSHOING (5-6 HOURS DRIVE)

After Breakfast Visit Paro Airport View Point, Paro Museum And Paro Dzong, You Will Be Transferred To Pheuntsholing, The Frontier Town, It Is A Thriving Commercial Centre, Situated Directly At The Base Of the Himalayan Foothills. It Is A Fascinating Place Where Different Ethnic Groups Mingle Prominently Indian, Bhutanese, And Nepalese. Evening Free At Leisure.
